This World Cup seems to favour any team who has developed the art of falling over like they've been shot at the slightest touch from an opposition player. Ronaldo and tackling 'hardman' Carvalho are two of the worst.
god, you ain't kiddin'. When I was growing up and participating in various recreational soccer leagues, I was often teased for playing a "sissy sport", and even though I haven't heard that expression in a long time, watching this year's World Cup sure lends credence to the view that some Americans have, that it's a sport played by a bunch of whiny-babies.
