  I've espoused the Libertarian philosophy for 25 years, but the platform of the Libertarian Party is too radical and wacky for me and is inherently unworkable.

  Here's the short version of Libertarian philosophy:

  Keep the Government out of people's pockets and businesses and out of their bedrooms: the best of Conservatism and the best of Liberalism!

  I agree there are a lot of problems in the LP today. I'm an indepentant, and for the most part go with the issues. But I do think Libertarian politics is interesting, especially since they are the "real deal" when it comes to capitalism.
