By my calculation, we are now well into the fortieth year of the 1,000 year reign of Christ and his anointed ones over the earth. There is still much work to do. Let us quit complaining and keep working hard. 957 years remain before the big test when Satan is let back out of the abyss to cause the very last reign of wickedness. It never ends.

Fred Franz, felt the need to decide what was appropriate for God Almighty to do.
Fred Franz thought it would be advantageous to lie a little bit to pump up the WTS's literature circulation and distribution., subsequently cultivating both more power and money toward himself.

In the early to mid-1960s there was something of a drop-off in the level of worldwide increase in publishers compared to the spectacular rate of increases in the 1950s. Speculation fuelled by the organization turned its fortunes around for a good ten years. A bystander could be forgiven for concluding that approved expectations about 1975 was a cynical ploy that combined silly prophetic schemes with membership drive. The "Truth" book came out in 1968 and forever changed the rank and file's approach to Bible studies: Bring 'em in as fast as possible before 1975.

Yes " The Truth " book which didn't have any truth.
It was WTS's editorial leaders like F Franz set responsibility to spin up theological bullshit to allure people to the WTS's literature.
Not surprising that the leaders to follow Franz were eventually put into a position to white wash over those unscriptural bible teachings. ie. 1914
One thing Franz did prove is that you can selectively extrapolate and manipulate Scriptures and sell your interpretations to the public, other charlatans learned from what the WTS did.
