weeeehell.. I am TOUCHED that someone has confidence in my chili. Thanks Lisa... You are going to be the first one to taste it, if you dare! I was going to go for taste, in fact, I still may do that, but I think I can kick ass in HOT! In fact, I think I'll go for both! I WILL win both categories. Everyone that has ever tasted my chili said it was the best they ever tasted. We'll see, with them North Texans <yankees> making chili, nobody knows. They are crazy, in fact us South Texans just look at them and roll our eyes.... Oy Vay! They are so sorry in their chilimakin skills... it tastes like a burrito! Like valis said.. you have to have a GUT to taste this stuff. All I gotta say is you better line your asshole with latex before you taste MY CHILI... I PROMISE YOU.

Country Girl... sure you may put a sprig of thyme, a pinch of cardamom.. or whatever in your "great" chilli. And you may make it hot.... BUT... there just is no substitute for a DAMN good hearty chili. The kind that makes you just wanna sit inside on a rainy day and warm up before going and apostasizing door-to-door. Your ass it grass, baby!
Valis, I don't care what you say, I am gonna post what I am making right here... you shouldnt have lost our entries in the first place. If you had half a brain then you could remember. I am bringing a nice hearty, sweet, meaty chili with beans.

I am planning with all of my might to say 100% i am going to be there...........lets hope the kids don't break a leg or some other tragedy holds us back from seeing all of you again. I also look forward to seeing new ones,,,,,,,and I will miss those who I know can't make it. But who knows.....maybe some will surprize us and show up??????????

Mmmmmm, Country Girl, that sounds GOOD!!! So does yours, FMZ!!! Seein' as how I was born to a couple of Yankees but been in Texas for 30 years, I am very flexible about my chili and I look forward to tasting everybody's!
