    Hi Everybody!

Thank you all so very much for the welcoming and the great info on this film. For those that weren't aware of the film, this is another 'little' chapter I recall from it:

I recall one part of the film that talked about finding joy in simple things. (If you recall this part, please add to it). I believe they show folks participating in daily activities like gardening or maybe even painting. The one part that sticks out in my mind (I've already commented on this in private wih a fellow Forum member)is when they show a black family sittig around the kitchen table and a younge boy says 'That's some real goood chicken!' I remember my mother laughing in disbelief that the Society would portray the black brothers like that.

I wish I could see that film again just to jar my memory so I might 'jar' my memory!

watched it at a possible Circuit Assembly, halfway through had to switch chairs with Mum, as she broke hers

doubtful @ 11:47 is child porn, but doubt they'd run it in today's culture

narrator sounds like ULYSSES V. GLASS, Gilead instructor

It was a creepy voice....very subtle like a snake.

    4:45

" A young person is not usually bad unless he's been molded that way by his environment".

This is the trap that he sets - us vs. them.

Of course the bible says the opposite, identifying the problem on the inside, not the outside.

    Romans 8:7-8

because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

That is why Jesus 3 times told Nicodemus that a person must be born again.
