I am sorry for your loss. I know it hurts,and I know how you feel...I recently lost my Dad.
the pain does ease up as time passes. And that person always seems to be with you. The slightest thing can trigger their memory and bring a smile to your face.
When my Dad woould come to my home to visit me and my wife and kids, our property is quite large and when we did not answer the door he would come around to one of the gate arbors and ring the cow bell that hangs on the gate. We would be out on the property and hear the bell and know it was him visiting.
Now, when a strong wind blows,and the bells ring; I always think of my Dad coming to visit me; smiling and patting me on the back. It brings a smile every time.
It does get better,
