Don’t Trust the Courts! Splane’s Latest Anti-Apostate Talk

David Splane’s Talk “Put Up a Hard Fight For the Faith” was that last talk presented on the Saturday of the Annual convention. This talk was to largely address apostates and restated ideas and arguments often presented before. However, this year, Watchtower is spending more time in disqualifying negative findings originating from secular courts and here is the segment of interest here:

“Charged and investigated. That doesn’t mean he’s guilty. Or supposed that someone is convicted and put in jail. That would apply to our young brothers in Korea. They were convicted and jailed. And what was their crime? They refused to kill someone. Did they do anything wrong? Or someone is found guilty by man, as Jesus was, that doesn’t mean that he is guilty in the sight of God.

So brothers, we really have to think about these things, we may read that a person or organization was sued and than settled out of court. Does settling out of court mean that they were guilty? Not necessarily. Court cases are often handled by a jury. Now who are on the jury? Ordinary citizens with no legal training. Not only that, these ordinary citizens don’t always have access to all the facts. Because the judge and lawyers decide which facts will be shared with the jury. So its unlikely that the whole truth will ever come out in court. Actually, neither sides probably wants the whole truth to come out in court.

But someone would say, no! I don’t believe in settling out of court. I believe in justice and truth! So that bring up the question: Is it wrong to settle a matter before it goes to trial? Or is it scriptural? Lets let Jesus answer that question: Turn to Matthew chapter 5, verse 25 and 26. Interesting that Jesus should mention this with all the important things that Jesus thought.

    • Be quick to settle matters with your legal opponent while you are with him on your way there so that somehow the opponent may not turn you to the judge and the judge to the court attendant and you get thrown into prison. I say to you for a fact you will certainly not come out of there until you have paid over your last small coin.

Now this is interesting, think about the mosaic law. Was there any provision in the mosaic law to throw someone in jail if he couldn’t pay a debt? That wasn’t the way. If he couldn’t pay, he’d have to work it off. Or a family member would have to work it off. So when Jesus talks about prison and a judge, he’s obviously referring to what a gentile judge would do. And you couldn’t necessarily expect justice from him. Why might he rule against our brother? Well, maybe he got paid under the table by the other party. Or maybe he was prejudiced against the race or the religion.

Now notice that Jesus didn’t say that the man should settle only if he was guilty. So brothers, lets not be naïve, don’t believe everything you read. Just because an article is called a news report doesn’t make it true. And an editorial has someone’s opinion and that someone may be wrong. And TV producers, they have their own agenda, prejudice and viewpoint.”

This is the first time JWs unambiguously include negative court findings into the “anything negative about JWs is linked to apostacy” group. Hence, JWs no longer have the ability to discuss such court cases with their JW friends as this could now bring reprisals. This is BIG.

They really are trying to convince the sheeple to simply ignore court cases, tv shows and any evidence of wrongdoing. Just because an institution deems you guilty it doesn’t mean a thing!

These lawyers at Watchtower are advising Governor Cuomo too, I think.🤥

Here is David Splane is using the Governing Bodies typical ''weasel words'' to hide the truth about the organization.

persecution, Satan, apostates, the negative media, opposers, weak in the faith

"Actually, neither side probably wants the whole truth to come out in court."

Mr. Splane: You may not want the whole truth to come out, but by the mere fact the Society is settling out of court lawsuits, shows that the Society really fears the court system and the jury duty system you put down.

"Put Up a Hard Fight For the Faith”

1 Because the faith is made up of lies, corruption, apostasy, hypocrisy, ignorance and even criminality.

    2. Because the swimming pools, tennis courts, complete health care, cars and air flights around the world doesn't come out are own pockets, it comes out of yours.

Actually, neither sides probably wants the whole truth to come out in court.

If he’s referring to the WT pedophilia lawsuits, then there is at least one party that doesn’t want the truth, but quite a way to slander victims of child sex abuse. He’s basically saying that if you are a victim of child sex abuse, you have something to hide, it’s partially your fault too.

Also quite a way to misrepresent Roman and Mosaic law, the Jews largely followed their own unified laws by then as controlling debts according to the strictest literal Mosaic interpretation only works on very small scales and the are had grown from a bunch of tribes to a full-scale nation (the physical space we call Israel today).

As far as the country of Israel, when established about 600 BCE the jubilee wasn’t a thing, according to Rabbinic tradition, this only applied to the land when they lived as separate tribes (pre-exile), according to science, the law was written post-exile and never really applied or only for a short period of time after their return from Babylon. It was probably written as an “eat the rich” propaganda tool and either never implemented or abandoned soon after it was written as it would not allow the sale of land and thus promote owners to hold and lease property across generations rather than having an economy around it. There is no evidence it was ever practiced according to the words, although it was sometimes found in Babylonian decrees and thus it is potentially an explanation or incorporation of those decrees into the law.

That's the way it was intended to avoid bias judgement.

YOU WILL BE JUDGED BY A JURY OF YOUR PEERS!

The way the Watchtower handles judgement is ---------THREE ELDERS, IN A SECRET MEETING, USUALLY AT NIGHT------WITH NO ONE TO REPRESENT THE VICTIMS

ELDERS BECOME ---JUDGE-JURY, and EXECUTIONER. ----and that is not THE JUSTICE WAY OF JUDGING PEOPLE.

In the end this is what as happened due to the JWS heads trying to keep a wholesome righteous image around the organization.

The Catholics have learned this lessen as well..

The JWS heads (GB) have to deal with this as well false doctrines which the organization made for the last 100 years.

......and its all on the inter-net for anyone to see

There is a particular need for those who have experience in litigation, corporate matters, data protection, real estate transactions...

The above quote is from the August 2021 WT BOE letter.

These kind of specialized individuals normally make 6, 7 & up figure incomes. I think for 'Mother' to put out a formal call for this kind of muscle (that not even Jah can help her with) means she has some tough legal battles going on right now with a lot more to come in the near future!

    (Y A Y...Happeeee!)
