    The WTS has for many decades been quite fascinated by this account of materialized angels, Nephilim, etc. They went so far as to reissue the book Angels and Women (1924), which purports to be a first-person account of what life was like during that period. The WTS appended 38 notes to their edition, with copious cross-references to the Studies in the Scriptures, The PhotoDrama of Creation, and The Harp of God.

    It wouldn't be a surprise if Clayton Woodworth had a hand in discovering this magnificent little fictitious gem and bringing it to Rutherford's attention. It's a pretty good read...if you're in a drunken stupor.

    Robhic,

    I do indeed think the ancient memory of the Black Sea being flooded figures into the Noah Story, but I think that the Gilgimesh/Noe connection are more directly related.
