It comes across as being quite offensive. In my former days and ignorance I would have found it quite amusing, but now, it seems very unkind to paint the creator of everything we hold dear in this way.

Jesus never turned his back on the 'crippled' for instance and as you know through scripture, Jesus bore witness to God's divine qualities. The tribe on ancient Israel and especially the inner circle of priests were held in high esteem and were purified to a great degree from the vestige of corrupt flesh through sin.

If you look at the 'spirit' behind the writing, you'll find it's true origin. Full of foul language, accusation and sarcasm.

It is only an accurate account if you want to believe it to be so.

Part of God's love involves strict discipline and standards. You may not accept that truth, but in that case, I suggest the writer does not understand the various expressions of love.

When somebody you hold dear pulls away and learns to despise you, even though you have never wronged that person, your emotions give way to amongst other qualities; anger. Anger contains judgement and harshness. All of this born out of love. Coldness follows on and then a complete cutting off. Not very warm and fluffy eh?

I agree EL Blanko. Considering his other posts, he has a "God" problem. I also did not enjoy the obscene words used.....

Oy vay!! Come off it!!! It's humor, that's all!!! Sorry you were offended by the obscenities and such, but I think it was terribly funny!!!

In my former days of ignorance, I followed a religion who believed in controlling people through fear and isolation. Now, I am free, and don't believe in a talking snake baiting a naked woman into eating a forbidden fruit, and therefore am able to find some humor in pointing out the foibles of a book riddled with atrocities and debauchery. Lighten up all, I am offended by others preaching about god, but I don't harp at them because they don't follow my thinking. Live and let live.

You are totally free to feel how you want, but when you start bashing on others, I'm gonna call you on it. You can disagree with the story all you want, but the personal attacks are not part of "hearing all viewpoints", IMHO. If dhamah has a "God problem", then you obviously have a "non-christian unbeliever" problem. Such is life, deal with it.
