Recently an Elder offered a Congregation prayer after a disaster:
"Jehovah, please help not only our Brothers and Sisters but all those in need of help at this time."
Pretty unique.

The whole praying for God's protection is a joke. Sometimes they are lucky and no one gets killed or injured, and other times many of them do. Has nothing whatsoever to do with prayer
It is really is astonishing to see someone stand in the middle of complete devastation and death, to give praises to God because someone they know didn't die.
