How many here have in their possession Troll dolls or Smurf dolls?

I am not sure about the rest of the world, but here in the states - these were considered 'demonistic' (oooohhhh!), and were pretty much forbidden in the toyboxes of children.

Since I have left, I have acquired a few for myself - one sits on the refrigerator - with a magnet - another on a shelf around here ... somewhere (he seems to walk around on his own *grin*).

    Sooooo... how about you?

    Regards,

I used to own a few troll dolls, wouldnt let any one touch them because they were my special toys... I played with them every day with my friend(she had her own of course) It was fun! lol

We had troll dolls; we would comb their hair, dye it, and some times give their a small haircut. Never had any interest in smurfs.

When anyone said anything, my mom would just ask if their children watched Snow White (wicked witch and dwarves), Cinderella (fairy godmother and magic), Sleeping Beauty (evil witch/dragon and the 3 good witches that helped her). Most JWs shut up then.

I was into the Smurfs. Such cherished childhood memories.

Smurfs and Troll Dolls were never really a big issue in my congregation. I watched smurfs all the time when I was a kid and I even had a stuffed smurf toy. I also had the album "Father Abraham in Smurfland". I recently found a copy of it and of course had to pick it up. Ahhhh, those childhood memories! I wonder what happens if you play it backwards?

Nos....you heard about the smurfs being communist or nazi propoganda? It's pretty funny stuff:

Personally I think Papa Smurf looks a lot like Karl Marx....and get that red hat? Scary....

Not to hijack the thread, but in your new avatar, you look like Doc Holiday in the western "Tombstone." wow!

LOL! I didn't have a dress on...... that day anyway.

In the full pic, you can see that my ex had attached that stupid bow to my head. The expression on my face doesn't show up well in the avatar. I figured it would make a good xmas avatar anyway.
