Wouldn’t the biggest conspiracy be that there are very rich people pulling strings and the rest of us are just getting by as best we can until we die?
If there was a Cabal that secretly owned all the influential Politicians and Stars and the Media, then of course they want to keep that power. No rich and powerful human ever wants to lose all that and be a peasant.
I’m not saying that’s true, but if it was, it doesn’t require any supernatural influence. All it requires is human beings who want to be in charge of other human beings.
