My wife and I left in 1988, and we have noticed the decline of the org since then. We were both converts, brought in during the build-up to '75. For me, the main attraction was emphasis on what seemed to be deep Bible Study. When we left, I thought the organization was running out of things to say. I remember thinking that I had not seen or heard "new light" in years.
Today's Watchtower Society would bore me to tears in about five minutes.

The suffering we have all experienced is very real and does not discriminate for or against one worldview or another.
The internet became public in april 1993.
Since that time it has been the Borgs kryptonite.
The curtain has been pulled back,,,the internet is the little dog pulling the curtain back on the charade.
These last 30 years have been a great awakening.
There are twice as many JWs now compared with 1993.
Im thinking its just being sustained by the Borgs own birthrate of born ins.
