Study Watchtower November 2023 p. 16,17 pars. 9,10 - "Consider the example of Oleg and Irina, a married couple who serve as pioneers. After moving to assist a congregation in another area, they lost their source of income because of the worsening economic conditions in their country......One day when they returned home from the ministry, they learned that a close friend had traveled about 160 kilometers (100 mi) to bring them two bags of groceries. Oleg says: “On that day, we once again experienced the depth of Jehovah’s care and that of the congregation." (But not their local congregation!)

This is what happens when you reject Higher Education: you can't figure out that you would help far more by posting a cheque which includes the cash saved in fuel costs! Environmentally friendly, too.

Consider the example of Oleg and Irina,

Or Oly and Lena. Or Jose and Maria. Or Rastuss and Liza. All names of fake people in jokes, which is what WT "experiences" are.

A brother called... Daniel was it?

.....and what, pray tell, did they eat for the other 51 weeks of the year??

oh gag me -- disgusting WT should be providing basics for them or at minimum contribute to feeding/clothing/housing the disadvantaged in the world. They provide nothing and should not be exempt from taxation, IMO.

    road to nowhere

The congregation and jeh had nothing to do with it. It was an established friend.
