Her family should be rejoicing over her death, according to JW teaching.

Why? According to Romans 6 the wages of sin are death. He who has died has been acquitted of his sin. The dubs use this to show that the dead person is now sinless having experienced death and will thus be resurrected.

Now they claim that all evil is random or Satan directed. So everytime we see people dying we should rejoice that they now are safely through the big A. If they had not been baptized kingdom publishers in good standing at the big A they would have been killed. Now all the starving people in Africa have to die.

There ends the obvious set of crapola logic for the day - dub style.

I have a couple of experiences on the same line.

One was an elderly sister who's husband died, they had been married for 50+ years. It was noticed by an Elder that she had removed her wedding ring, he asked her why. She said that as death ended the marriage why should she wear the ring. The elder said wasn't she going to welcome him back when he is resurrected. She said, she'll welcome him back. But according to WT teaching they will not be married and he will not be able to marry. So as far as she was concerned she is a single woman and if she get through Armageddon she will be finding herself a new husband.

The other one is of a young couple in their late 20's, got married. Three months later she woke up one morning and he was dead, thought to have been the Adult version of "cot death". Shocked everyone. Of course she continued in the hope that she would see him in the resurrection and be reunited with him. A hope she kept for years. Then some tactful JW said to her it was no use waiting for him as he would not be allowed to marry her in the new system, and that she had better find someone else while she was young enough.

Does this mean that the millions of people who will be resurrected, according to the WT. Will be wandering the earth with no husband or wife. Watching the JW's who got through Armageddon marrying, having sex, having children etc. I'm sure their eternal earthly life will be great fun for them.

Another thought what about all the children who have died. Imagine a JW child who died because of not having a blood transfusion. They get resurrected congratulated on their fine stand (even though it was their parents who made the decision) etc. Then told you can now grow up in a paradise, but they will never be able to marry.

It will cause a two class world those who can marry etc, and those who can't. Will this cause resentment between the two classes?

Or will as some JW's say God will take the feeling for marriage and sex away from the resurrected ones. But isn't that interfering with a persons free will.

people always say that you will lose the desire for each other in the new system. Personally I always had a problem with the idea that just because you die, you can't remarry. If it is natural for us to have a mate, then why can't we marry after being resurrected, and if we had one long time mate on earth before, why not that person??

but it fixes the opposite logic that if you remarry after your loved one dies when later upon resurrection and you are no longer free for your mate who has died.

What freewill, according to JWs we are only spirit actived, animated dirt which can be reprogrammed under the right conditions. if you have no more desire for something you will not miss it either, even if others are enjoying it. after all, if you don't like Kim Chi, you will not mind someone eating it up wind from you (^_^).

Nevermind that the answer supposedly placated the Sadducees that asked the 7 brother question. In fact the Sadduccees believed neither in the resurrection nor angels. So the answer given would have been received with even more contempt. The author of these passages apparently has confused subjects, participants or was ignorant of Jewish sects. Or maybe this Jesus was.

Here's another one to think about:

A mother/wife and her 8-year-old son die and the husband is still single after the Big A. Who will raise the child? Will Jehovah have a Family Court established to see who gets custody? After all, the father won't be allowed to reunite with his wife.

Hmm...I wonder what the child support would be: 18 bushels of wheat per week?

Nikita... Leah Obey is the one who died.
