If that's the case then its obvious the anointed ones of the JWS are corrupt lying crooks, trying their darnest to sustain the organization, their power and control of which they have, not to mention the incoming money.

dreamerdude, thank you for that rundown, average age of GB in 1975: ~26 basking in the glory of early prominence ? compared to

Frederick Franz who was 20 in 1914, at ~26 fully involved in the campaign: "The world has ended, Millions now living will never die!", and not deterred by the 1925 fulfillment failure.

so by comparison very similar circumstances, outcomes. both Franz and current GB members were involved in a prophecy gone wrong, but working hard to make it come true through giving it new life by setting new milestones, "loving the ideas" that pop up. conclusion:

true believers, still verfranzt. still looking for the non-existing goal.

David Splaine is an accomplished piano player ~ R. Conservatory grade 7. so if JW raised, with more than "go ye and preach" childhood background,

I know this much about Heard, he must be feable minded because he gave 3 talks at our convention and and he reads everything not looking up at the audience for nothing. Even common scriptures like Matt 24:14, he reads it with out looking up.

The question remains would you become slightly corrupt if you were offered a high ranking power position of a world wide rich publishing house known as the Watchtower Corporation, even if you only had a high school diploma or less ?.

That they are denying..'75 is in accord with the Sydney branch Office lawyer denying he knew anything of the term 'theocratic warfare' when asked at the ARC.

Yes, the denial of 1975 is incredible. In 1975 the current GB would not have had any expectations of rising as high as they have. The old order was supposed to end.

When the governing body became the Governing Body in 1971, the 18 members were just picked by Knorr and Franz, to add to the 5 wt corporate officers. All of those original 18 are dead. The longest serving member now is Loesch, since 1998. The method for picking new GB members is no more legitimate than it was back then. They basically scout the world to see if there are any deluded men in the branches, COs, or missionaries that claim to have been hearing voices. Then they invite them to HQ, observe them, and see if they will fit the club. Holy Spirit has nothing to do with the process.

dreamerdude. very good point. like in 1914, the anointed were supposed to be in heaven by 1975, called to their reward, for the battle of A. as immortal warriors. never thought of that! so:

the current GB serves so eagerly, their current life is a reprieve, icing on the cake. ruling, governing on earth first, then in heaven, in the governing body of 144k+1.

The current 7 GB see themselves as being very special indeed. A few years ago they stopped sharing the limelight as the Slave with the growing thousands of remnant on earth. These 7 humans call the shots, and they can even ignore Jesus. But in heaven, as waton points out, they will be part of a much larger group, most of which did not have the privilege of controlling millions of humans. But they still expect to be very special, satisfying their narcissistic desires. For now, they don't want people to remember how wrong the GB was in 1975, and how wrong they were to go along with the charade.

dreamerdude, do you have information whether any of them actually were partaking, as of 1975, or came to that belief after the letdown? because, one feature of Jesus' description the disappointed servants, realizing that their ".. master is delaying..", (according to their calculations), is, to get drunk (with power) like the world. Could be the rush to governance be a reaction like that? : saying :

This is not happening, let's go for broke? there will be no consequences?
