The witness this person lives with is likely on the carpet too...you can't house a renegade and get away with it, can you?

The witness that she was living with has kicked her to the curb. She doesn't want her to wreck her relationship with Jehovah!

    Can you feel the love?

This will be one more nail in their coffin when this person tells everyone about her experience with them.

When someone refutes the organization and any of its doctrines they are essentially refuting the power and control the men have within the organization, since the JWS men are suppose to carry Jehovah's holy spirit.

The ironic part about the JWS organization is that the top leading men from the very beginning were opposed to Jesus and his instructions for preaching his Gospel, therefore making them apostate sinners according to the bible .

Yes, I know a man who started studying but never even became a publisher or even attended meetings that much. He found out TTATT online and started reverse witnessing to his JW family, and soon enough he was being called an "apostate" by the congregation and the word was spread to shun him, even though he only studied briefly. Apparently it's all about how much you rock the boat that'll earn you the apostate badge, technically true or not.

How can they do this if she is not baptized?

    They can't.

It's either nitwit elders who don't know their own rules, or they are trying to intimidate her.

    Or a combination thereof.

If they tried it, the CO would run roughshod over them on his next visit.

Sometimes I think the WT goes out of its way to find more people to kick out.

Maybe " marked" as a bad associate. They never announce disfellowshipped as such. She may confuse the terms. I know of a woman who came " in" trying for a certain man, ten announced as no longer being part of the congregation, but not by name. those os not in the know had some gossipping to do to figure it out

Well the nice little nugget in all of this is the JWs have reinforced whatever doubts the woman had after her online doubt came up.

She got out in the nick of time and there is always another place to live.

That is a nail hit squarely on the head - Neat Blue Dog
