November WT God's View Of War

  Did anybody else read this article and just think WTH?

  Sometimes God approves of war.

  Sometimes God doesn't approve of war.

  When the Israelites fought battles and won it was because God blessed them.

  When they lost it was because God had not blessed them.

  Sometimes God fights for oppressed ones.

  Sometimes they must wait and have faith.

  It is so clear that the bible contradicts itself on this issue and that the nation of Israel had a totally different view of God than the early Christians. It is also clear that the nation of Israel was highly superstitious and would attribute every battle's outcome to the whims of a higher power. The way the WT tries to work around these obvious facts is hilarious.

  I skimmed through at the back of a hall in Brooklyn. I feel articles like this are them getting more and more apologetic for the desert god due to dissent.

  If God is love, then he wouldn't have commanded his people to fight. It's as simple as thatyeah, he could have let them abandon the perennial Middle East battle zone and have them leave in sturdy oak arks, ships and settle as Earlier Days Refugees in Utah.

  Jehovah was with Judah, and they took possession of the mountainous region, but they could not drive out the inhabitants of the plain, because they had war chariots with iron scythes.

  Better hope Gog doesn't read the bible or Armageddon won't go as planned.

  Maybe that's why armageddon hasn't come. Gog of Magog got his hands on some iron war chariots... and a musket.

  He's God. He can do anything he wants! It was a preview how "new light" would work during da time of da end!

  War is Raw, no matter how you view it , old testament reading, right to left, or war=wick style left to right.

  God was the instigator of hatred among the nations .

  He chose one nation and pitted them against every other nation

  Then of course the other nations rallied against Gods chosen nation ,

  who then in turn rallied back.

  So it is not Satan` s fault that the world is in the mess it is in today it is the Almighty God`s fault.
