My boy is going to play for Watford football club! And whilst I didn't take his revelation to seriously, I am was glad his " goal" isn't to pioneer.:-)

I coached amateur and semi - pro youth football for over 20 years. The ones that make it into pro clubs are a very small percentage.

Great news Reb ! I have a friend who was a great footballer in his youth, so he has become known as "Stan" after the great Sir Stanley Matthews, his son has started playing for Dover, not as illustrious as Watford, but I have high hopes he, like your son, will go on to greater things !

Hey Rebel,
Hope his dream comes true. I saw my first game at Vicarage Road in 1968. Hopefully, I'll be there to cheer him on his debut.
