OK, I'm *WAY* too tired to talk/type right now. It was great meeting & re-meeting everyone!

I hope, if nothing else, we managed to put to rest the idea that me and Beans are one and the same. (Hey, I could only whish to be as cool as Beans!).

When I left (~12:45AM), is2cool was catching 40 winks, so he would be in shape to drive Sloane to the airport. Rayzorblade was left in charge of keeping an eye on that Southern Belle, Sloane, I'll tell you what.

Hats of to is2cool for his hospitality!!! Hip-hip, Hooray! Hip-hip, Hooray! Hip-hip, Hooray!

Well, it's over! Rayzorblade and I just dropped Sloan off at the airport! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO missing everyone already!

Since I'm operating on very little sleep, I probably won't be very coherent right now. Can barely see the keyboard either - something in my eyes. Thanks to all for coming, and thanks for all the help I received. I've met a few of you before, yet it was my first meeting with many of you, yet the love and friendship I saw displayed these last 2 days surpassed anything I ever saw during my 20 years in the borg. I have so much to say, but am barely able to speak right now, so I'll post more later, and upload some pics.

Actually, if there's anyone who needs major credit, it's iiz2cool.

I did a back-away-from the forum bit for about a month. During this time, I was not involved with this Toronto apostafest.

Walter, yes.....he did it all.

I take NO credit.

I suggested a place to hang out on Saturday, and the crowd came down.

Which turned out to be a great time, and despite the fact I had to work, I did enjoy the vibe.

Sunday afternoon/evening, I finally got to meet 68Storm (later his son came down). Most of the Michigan crew left before I arrived, and of course, I missed seeing Mortons68 (Michelle: I have some photos that are yours, I will e-mail you about it later), Aztec, Obiwan, Pettygrudger (I got the notorious pose on film), Outnfree (missed seeing your daughter), and the locals too: Micheal and Beans (and his two daughters).

Saw Quotes and Sloan, I actually spent alot of time with them both. Sloan is hon!

We talked for hours, right up until we had to wake Walter up from slumber.

More and , than you can shake a stick at.

Great to see everyone again at Walters.

I'm happy to read that the Michigan crew got home safely. I take it Shera & her sister-in-law arrived back in Nova Scotia without any problems.

Sloan (Michelle), thanks for the great long chat. Those are things I will never forget. Hope you had a great flight from Toronto to Florida. (mwah)

Vicki: what a sweetheart. Hope you have a safe flight back to New Brunswick as well. It was also nice to see your brother again (Peter).

I think that's an excellent point, iz2cool.. people are not up tight when in the borg...

I am so happy for all of you, and read through the whole dammed thread. Iz2cool, I have a lot of respect for you... although you are fairly quiet on the forum, you sound like a really cool guy all right... we'll all meet one day!

Ray, again, nice to see you back here. Not a mod anymore, eh? Good for you! There's nothing wrong with walking away from that "privlege". If something grieves you, get rid of it! But that's not what this thread is about...

You all get some well deserved sleep.

To everyone I met, the pleasure of meeting such great people, is all mine. What a great group!

I don't even know where to begin, it was all such great fun.

Walter, you are such a great man, I really like you alot, what a wonderful human being. You did such a wonderful job of coordinating things, it couldn't have been much better.

Morton68, WOW, now there is a woman with spirit! And Rayzor is right, that woman has some HAIR. It was good too meet you, I hope you had a good time.

Out, Petty, Carrie, those are my gals! I hope you didn't mind me doing the "man" thing, watching out for all you and the women in our group. I gotta make sure you are all safe! Out, you and your daughter were such a joy to have around. The conversations were never ending. It is so nice to know someone who can talk and converse on so many different levels. Carrie, well, what can I say. Our Carrie loves the canucks and there beer. You were a trooper, you held out till the last. If no one went to bed, you would have still been up.((Petty)) Now there is a woman with a huge heart. If you never take the chance to meet her, your missing out. She care so much about everyone so unconditionally, other people can learn by her example. Your a sweetheart, and anyone who meets you, knows it.

Sloan, it was so nice to have someone so far away join out fest. Make sure and tells all those "Dallas" fest'ers, that they can party just a well in the great white north. A woman full of so much energy, it was nice to have you.

Vickie and Scott, what a wonderful couple. I didn't get the chance to talk much to you Vickie, but your a very nice person, you seemed so happy and full of life. I'm really glad you were able to recapture some of your youth in Toronto. Old friends are the best, when you can reaquire them, it's even better. Scott, your a good man. I really enjoyed talking with you. Perhaps one day, you might have the interest of posting here. There is alot of insight you can give to those with believeing mates, that are trying to get there loved ones out.

Expatbrit, Beans, Quotes, Micheal and soooo many others. It was such a joy to meet and conversed face to face with all of you. Everyone showed just how whitty and inteligent they are, just as they are here on there forum. There were so many insightful conversations/remarks, it will take me a few days to digest it all.

We must do this again!!

Loved watching this thread develop. Sounds like everyone had a fantastic time. Looking forward to the pics.

CJ and I are becoming very serious Air Miles collectors, so we can be more spontaneous to attend future fests.

UGH!!! Awake again, and about to go to work! I probably shouldn't, since I'm such a clutz when I'm in this shape! I just about electrocuted myself a few minutes ago Afraid trying to get a flourescent light to work!
