*LOL* dr..At least I'm not the only one...*LOL* I'm think to myself about this person who teaches JW stuff at a school...talk about a captvie audience and a biased look at them in general...sheesh.

My guess is that Religious Education is what we here in NSW call "Scripture" - an hour each week where students are broken up into their denominational groups and have a Sunday School style lesson - volunteers come in from the local churches (and mosques!) to teach them. Don't worry - atheist parents can send their kids to a non-religious session. I'm guessing that there enough JWs at that school (probably close to a KH) to justify a scripture class specifically for them. Otherwise, JW kids would be going to the non-religious class, or perhaps sit out the hour in the library.
And don't worry, no non-Dub kids would be harmed in the making of the JW RE hour...
Just had a thought. Can a woman be a JW scripture (RE) teacher? Most of the teaching positions within the Borg are male dominated. Why would teaching scripture at school be different? And what materials would a JW scripture teacher use? My guess is that it wouldn't be anything interesting for kids like the crafts and other acitivities that the Mainstreamers would get - probably going through Watchtower study articles. Is this the loophole by which women in the Borg can function like men, i.e. running a meeting?

Well????????
And what materials would a JW scripture teacher use?
the bible book of storys...followed by questions....thats all i can remember...
after a while though they stopped doing it...well in our cong anyway
So it'd be very unlikely that non-Dub kids would be there?

Still, the closest thing to special attention and their own group at their level that a Dub kid would ever experience, I imagine.

From what I had heard the local school here pulled the plug on it for some reason...
