In truth, she DID find me after 10 years. I would've searched for her, but didn't know her married name, and I was so sure she was still ultra-pioneer GOOD girl, i figured she'd burn her computer if i tried to contact her. ("it's been demonized now!!") hehe.

Odrade & Luna: this is great news!
Glad to read threads such as this one. It certainly hands out hope for those who still long for their former good friends when they were JWs.
I met one person back in August 2000. We had not seen each other in over 20 years. Never thought it would happen, but it did.
I'm pleased to read of this reunion. Aren't they wonderful?

Yep Ray, it's all to the good. I started looking for her about 8 years ago, when I was still a good JW. Someone I worked with said to me: "Your best friend??? What is wrong with you, you need to find her!" That was the first little wedge--when I started to think "What is wrong with this picture?"
Let's just hope she doesn't tell too many tales!
