And the silken sad uncertain rustling of each purple curtain thrilled me filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before so that now to still the beating of my heart I stood repeating tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door only this and nothing more

I have always gone through life apologizing when I was wrong.
Terry did not "ask" for money when he left his bike unlocked. He accepted money from others when he left his bike unlocked.

    I am sorry I misspoke.

I appreciate the positive comments. All of them.

I started writing about the birds one day when I just couldn't concentrate on pulling my latest book together. I was trying to blow out the pipes.

I know a few "Birders" and they always struck me as unknowable because I couldn't relate to their seeming obsessions.
Edgar may soon convince me of the necessity of continuous surveillance, however.
