I'm so happy you are ok !
plantar fascitis is painful, I know I have it in my left foot. but the orthotic should help a whole lot. also, try wearing shoes with at least a 1 1/2-2" heel, it may seem uncomfortable at first but if you find a good pair it will be well worth it. keep your foot elevated and plenty of ice! stay well lots of hugs!
