The Irony of JW's on Halloween

    I never heard that Halloween was the day that the Dubs don't out, I don't think anything stops them. If they go out on Xmas they go on Halloween for sure. I guess it depends on where your location is though, since nothing they do has all the Dubs on one page.

    My JW self did not hate Halloween. Or feel ripped off. We always had a skate party and mom's gave treats. Most Sun nights we went skating, so not deprived of fun. I felt gypped about family dinners on thanksgiving and Christmas. My mom would make turkey later. We might go for dessert, but it was a denial of extended family time and I loved seeing everyone together. By dessert they start heading off on dates, movies or sleep. Not the same. Miss the lively time before meal. Before the dinner drugging effect.
