    Can anyone cite a reference work or whatever that backs up the fact that the name does not appear in the NT?

    Yes, the NWT study bible. Just look in the back and it lists every place where they have changed either the greek kurios (Lord) or theos (God) to "Jehovah".

    While it can be debated that the inclusion of YHWH in the NT when applied to OT quotes in which YHWH is used, is correct, what can't be excused is the random insertion of the term jehovah outside that context and in places where Lord is clearly applied to jesus, as in the case of Romans chapter 10.
