I think a man & woman can just be friends, though sometimes its a thin line.
Before I was married I had a friend who I had to tell 3 times that I wasnt interested in a long term relationship with her. Still, when I met my wife the girl was very hurt and hasnt spoken to my wife since (they were best friends). Sad.

Yeah so a lot of men and women think its OK to have a friendship with the opposite sex but then its s different story if its there boyfriend/girlfriend that has the friendship. I know I am alright with my girlfriend having a friend of the opposite sex as long as its just a friendship. To be jealous about your mate is just your insecurities. I figure if they are going to cheat they will cheat if you know about it or not.
