    slimboyfat,

That means present-day JWs who believe that every verse of the Bible are inspired are more zealous than their founder (like subjects being more patriotic than the king)

2 Chronicles 19:7 "Now then let the fear of the LORD be upon you; be very careful what you do, for the LORD our God will have no part in unrighteousness or partiality or the taking of a bribe."

    The LORD is not partial.

Deuteronomy 14:2 "For you are a holy people to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

God's impartiality led to what could be described as genocide, which seems rather partial.

    Proverbs 26
4 Do not answer the stupid one according to his foolishness, So that you do not put yourself on his level.
5 Answer the stupid one according to his foolishness, So that he does not think he is wise.

Why don't christian see this blatant Contradiction here. Or am I missing something Wise ? Someone Explain please

In Genesis 3:5, when Serpent exhorted humans to "become like God" it was treated like a rebellion.

Yet, in Mathew 5:48 Jesus too exhorts us to "become like God" and it is treated like height of spirituality.

The practical way of handling such situations is to reject what obviously is wrong and stick to what obviously is right. Here in this situation, Genesis account seems to be of human origin.

In other words, contradictions mean writers were careless and thoughtless.

This creates another contradiction of writers who are themselves careless asking us to be careful.

This explains why scriptures exert no influence on the lives readers!

One place it says we are sinners from birth (Romans 5:12-21), in other places it says repent which means you had freedom to choose, yet you chose wastefully, hence now choose to make U-turn.
