Is god so narrow that he would deny us to celebrate the miracle of birth in ones we love? Me thinks not.
Their was a time when the wt started this 'no birthdays' thing. what happened?.. big parties out of control, excess booze, over blown gift giving? people sleeping in the next day?
If people have no sense of social balance then such is their level of social development.
I have read that in Latino countries the jw girls at 15 are permitted to have a big party and the wt 'allows'.
