I read your opening post and am not sure what kind of reaction you are going fir at a funeral.
But I did immediately think that wearing a cross or a pin with an angel or some kind of Jesus button would be great. A flying spaghetti monster would not be understood, but a Jesus fish might be. Or some kind of LBGT pin.
