What will this set a precedent for I wonder. Outside cleaning contracts? Building companies?

If they can start outsourcing the printing which was like the holiest of WT's prized sacred cows and proof of holy spirit then they can outsource anything.

There is no way the R&F will see it as any kind of indication that Jehoover is no longer blessing things but I would love to have been a fly on the wall when the GB heavies told the British branch committee they were losing all of this and being relegated to a second tier sorting office. That really would have wiped the smile off their smug, self obsessed faces...

Wikipedia has some interesting bits and pieces on this company.

    Corporate principles[edit]

Part of the articles of association of Axel Springer AG are the five socio-political preambles that were written by Axel Springer in 1967, amended in 1990 following German reunification and supplemented in 2001.[5]

    1. To uphold liberty and law in Germany, a country belonging to the Western family of nations, and to further the unification of Europe.
    2. To promote reconciliation of Jews and Germans and support the vital rights of the State of Israel.
    3. To support the Transatlantic Alliance, and solidarity with the United States of America in the common values of free nations.
    4. To reject all forms of political totalitarism.
    5. To uphold the principles of a free social market economy.

    Zionism[edit]

The Axel Springer SE is criticized by German leftists and Muslims who maintain that Springer media show excessive support for Israel.[23]

Jeezus, at the rate they're goin', by 2025 any remaining "branch offices" will consist of just a couple guys photocopying stuff in their basement...

...which, by the time they get done, will be "old light", anyway. :smirk:
