Would not the GB go up to heaven with ------ the start of the Great Tribulation?

Or: yes, but there might be other partakers still around after their departure. and, since the rest of the :anointed are already in heaven since 1918. that will be quite a cast of characters, judging by their antics on earth, they could fight to their hearts delight, all being immortal. btw.

that why wt is wrong, again, because according to Jesus, the last generation will not pass away at the start of the Great Tribulation, but "after all these things have come to pass".

imagine upon arrival, stepping out of the elevator, , Jesus telling them:

"what are you guys doing here? I said to wait until it was all over! here it is in Math 24: 34. did you not read the apostate reminders on all your goofs?

In the year 2525, if man is still alive...at the least all the GB members will not be alive and the cult will have crumbled in the heap of false prophets to come and those that have gone.

what would happen if all of the governing body members died at the same time-

Suddenly there would be marvelous "New Light" about "The Rapture" and JW's worldwide would immediately adopt it enthusiastically and wholeheartedly.

They already said on JW Broadcasting that once all the annointed are gone we would need to start obeying the "helpers" to the GB. Robert Luccioni (himself a helper) said it explicitly in a talk. But with all the thousands of new annointed being added over recent years I don't see how they'll run out.

If all GB members died at once?

This would be a good thing. Reason for this is because the OLD METHODS and DOCTRINES, are taught to every New anointed member that is recruited. This is why they continue to keep the silly and dangerous doctrines of 1914, NO Blood, and Shunning.

If a New Group takes over, they will probably be in their 40s and 50s with NEW IDEAS on how to run the organization.

Just like all Cultures throughout History, New Generations of people Change the direction of Political Kingdoms and Religions.

The New Group would not be influence by the Old geezers in how to make changes for the well being of the Organization.

Seeing that the Organization is shrinking as a result of the major OLD teachings like 1914, Blood Doctrine, and shunning, these New Leaders would probably discard all these Old teachings to save the Organization from completely becoming obsolete.

Getting rid of these three major teachings would allow the Organization to continue growing again.

    Wait...

...aren't all the current GB members supposed to raptured taken away by Jehovah at the start of the Great Trib?

So, if they all kicked the bucket at once, wouldn't that break JW loyalists' brains?
