Endurance training, mental preparedness and multitasking aren’t “women only” traits so once those qualities are found in the right ratio in a male athlete interested in that sport her record will be shattered.
Of course, records are there to be broken - a situation unlikely to change.
Endurance training and mental preparedness certainly are activities which are not gender-driven. Multitasking, though, is one in which women generally have an edge. There is a biological reason for that, explained in detail by Alan and Barbara Pease in their “Why Men Don’t Listen and Women Can’t Read Maps”.
In events where brute strength is not the determining factor, much of the male advantage is negated. (And the more so the greater the distance).
Women can multitask men can not ~ GreenHornet
Absolutely! No man has ever been seen driving in the fast lane while talking on the phone and putting on mascara! Multi-tasking is definitely a woman's thing.
When you plan ahead, and are on time, you are never forced to multitask. 🤣
Yes, it would be bloody great if you could get through a working day without being interrupted, wouldn’t it?
Not very likely, though!
(Having been at work today for exactly one hour and five minutes - and having just already dealt with what feels like 200 interruptions!)
