If you're "anointed" don't seek out other "anointed" so says the Watchtower January 2020

When I was affiliated with the Witnesses, there were barely 6,000 who profess to be of the anointed remnant. I recently read somewhere that today there are over 20,000 who profess to be anointed. That figure may be more when you consider those who meet and partake privately for fear of the stigma of claiming to be anointed. Remember not too long ago such individuals were branded as mentally challenged by the Society.

But this little tidbit was recently brought to my attention, how the Governing Body has been pressuring these anointed ones not to gather together for personal Bible study. In Study Article number 5 in the January 2020 Watchtower they Society had this to say

    https://www.jw.org/en/library/magazines ... -with-you/

7 Anointed Christians do not feel that they should spend time only with other anointed ones, as if they were members of an exclusive club. They do not search out other anointed ones, hoping to discuss their anointing with them or to form private groups for Bible study. (Gal. 1:15-17) The congregation would not be united if anointed ones did those things. They would be working against the holy spirit, which helps God’s people to have peace and unity.—Rom. 16:17, 18.

One wonders what they are afraid of? It use to be that such warnings were only given to the rank and file, but if those who profess to be anointed start to study and seek each other out, they may come to other conclusions. The Holy Spirit may lead them to see Biblical beliefs not taught by the Governing Body, who now claim they and they alone are the Faithful and Discreet Slave Class.

We used to have them. Specialer in a different way than the GB. They would get together snd talk about going to heaven and what it would be like. Some recruited. I think one woman was having visions.

One of the yoyos approached an old "real" annointed to shake her hand and be special. She shut him right down.

Going on the tenuous assumption the annointed story is correct, the WT is right to squelch these.

Of course we do have a " real" one whose big brother is going to teach him how to ride a horse and kill people

They are terrified of the average Witness getting a hold of the idea that they can have a personal relationship with Jesus.

    Amazing

They have to mention this because some of the more deluded anointed have done exactly that, sort out other anointed ones like they’re special and try to stir some shit, they even had a website.

2+2=5 please elaborate on this website you speak of. I would love to know what that was, lol.

So they gave certain JWs magic powers and it is disrupting the cult like unity as the magic ones grow in ranks. Kinda ruins the whole "sameness" vibe a good cult goes for.

When your in a organization where certain members can elevate themselves in identity and stature above others and do so easily with little evaluation, scrutiny or condemnation, why not ?

Your going to place a thicker sheet of righteousness over yourself that people will inevitably be in awe of.

Religion after all is psychological game of chance and opportunity.

Or maybe they are afraid that, once enough of them get together, one of them will do some research and find out what kind of place heaven really is. Once they find out, no one will want to go there. No, you will not rule anything (that is, unless you are one of the reptilians or descended from them). Instead, you will have your soul consumed as a meal for the reptilians. While the "other sheep" serve as slaves under joke-hova. Worse than the most communist version of Russia, China, or North Korea. More like the Dark Ages, without any hope of a Renaissance.

    ROLROD:

Maybe they’re afraid all these so-called anointed might go renegade and start their own religion.

The JWs are paranoid about groups who get together regularly which is why they feel they need to oversee everything. They are afraid of people reaching their own conclusions about things.

Remember what happened in the early ‘80s? People were conducting private WT studies...the end result people got DFd with accusations of ‘apostacy’🙄.

weird, so the "other sheep" should time and again talk about their future hope on a paradise earth, but this is not allowed for the anointed ? Another proof of how controlling this org gets….

The WTS heads have always been active in protecting its positional power, authority and control over people. Part of this endeavor is accomplished by watching over what their members are reading and doing particularly when it comes to the bible doctrines which the WTS have created and spread through their published literature.

Everyone gets watched and scrutinized even the self identifying anointed ones.
