    Agreed! It's interesting that in one videod interview with Prince where he stated that, as a JW he does not observe birthdays. When asked why, the reason he gave was cryptic and one I had not heard before.

    He side-stepped giving one of the more usual reasons JWs parrot that birthday observations/celebrations place undue attention on the individual when it should be on the Creator. So, every time Prince went on stage to perform, how was the attention not undue? He was/is idolized and venerated.

    Consistency is not the organization's strong suit and nor is it Prince's.
