Children are easily manipulated and a part from that, they often have a respect for adult persons they know, not to talk about if it would be a person with a respected position. Mostly they would not dare to fight back or even tell anybody. They might also be convinced that it is an act of devine love and that they are chosen. The most common behaviour amongst children is that they keep the secret with severe damage marking them for life.
