  To summarize:

  ...and let us reiterate, obedience to the WT WILL truly make you happy. There is so much joy in serving Jehovah (a.k.a. doing all the works the WT requires to remain in "good standing"). If you would just realize that nothing else can make you happy, so please stop doing that thing that you are passionate about, that thing that contributes to your individuality, that thing that actually makes you happy, and do as WE say. WE promise you will be happy. Look, "the friends" are doing it, and look at them, they are sooo happy!

  As JWs, spiritual is meant to make known to others that you are such. Not only to an invisible God, but to make yourself feel you are spiritual, and to keep up your outward appearance as spiritual. Which the narrow mindset of the JWs will accept or reject you as a person depending on that shallow outward appearance of ''spiritual''.

  Lame yes but to be fair it wasn't just about filling out a time slip. They did mention helping the elderly and others as very important. You can't find fault with that.

  I wonder where this was filmed? Holland,Belgium Scandinavia ? it still all boils down to do more, more FS,more meeting preparation, more cleaning! LOL,while the poor brothers suffer burnout,fatigue,low morale, to place "spirituality" with the amount of reaching out one does is pure stupidity still!

  Wow, for a second there, I thought I stumbled on some 'gay porn'. So its ok to wear tight pants when you want to make it look cool to be a witness on their broadcast? So as long as it fits their agenda it fine, no problem. But kindly abstain from wearing tight pants unless we approve it first. Total guilt trip propaganda, thank god I unplugged when I did.

  Yeah, this was filmed in The Netherlands! In my congregation, I never saw another elder clean the toilets.

  Goes out witnessing so much to submit a report to his overseer elder

  Is seen helping old ones in the cong

  Is active as a cleaner at the hall

  etc...

  All so he can become a "big fish in a small bowl" and wear a title as an appointed man?

  Didnt Jesus say "he who wants to be first will be last"?

  I ground my teeth through this presentation. The eldurr giving the part mentioned all the good things there are about "reaching out". He made a point of saying what the "qualifications" are, and then stating, "but more is needed. You have to be visible in the serve us."
  

  As others have said, it is strange that someone could do all the things Jesus said should be done to one of his brothers; taking care of the elderly, providing necessities of life to those who are poor, being an emotional support to those who are depressed, yet if you are not SEEN, and if you don't brag (report) your hours, you will never get the "privilege" of being used, abused, chewed up and spit out, kicked to the curb when you are no longer of any slave value to the WT.

  They have always been saying they want brothers to reach out, but what they really want is young men in their early 20's to be managers and tow the company line. Any JW with care and compassion and a sense of justice will never make the grade if they are 35 plus.

  I know loads of JWs who were never made elders when they were reaching out, and it's because they were too outspoken and opinionated.
