What kind of person do you think I am? If you think just because I am no longer a JW I would lower my standards and partake of beer in an atmosphere polluted with drunken unchristian like conduct, you'd be right

    Dave,

I really benefitted from your post. It couldn't have been said better--er, the one about not accepting the labels the jws apply, not the one about the beer.

To refer to oneself as disassociated, df'd, or apostate is accepting the cant (sorry, it's a new word I just learned!) or the lingo peculiar (and I mean peculiar!) to the WTBS.

    Thanks for the clarity.

    Scarlet:

JanG: Was that definition one of your original thoughts? Don’t even try to be an intellectual. That label just doesn’t fit.

As I said, you really don't want to know .....[8>] And you dont!
