Wow I never knew there were so many instances of 40 in the bible. Certainly not a coincidence.

That`s not the only number that features a lot in the Bible ,and the Watchtower had earthly , heavenly ,and spiritual significance to them ,such as seven ,ten ,twelve ,and fourty ,12 times 12000 is 144000 .as earthly completeness ,heavenly completeness and of course the number of the wild beast 666,six being an incomplete number to the third degree..

According to the Bible Jehovah never shunned Satan .

    And Jesus never shunned Satan

Yet Jehovah`s Witnesses shun their brothers and sisters , who may even be there family members simply because they didn`t want to be Jehovah`s Witnesses anymore .

Thousands of years ago Satan decided he didnt want to be a Witness of Jehovah and neither Jesus or Jehovah ever shunned him according to the NWT of the Bible.

Since we are going off track that's why if 1914 was correct the end should have came 40 years later in 1954 ( what the bible clearly says how long a generation is)

1874 to 1914 (the first official 40 year period 1874 to the end in 1914)

40 years of harvest per the WTS,

Harvest started 1874 or the remaining anointed

Ended in 1914 with their being taken to heaven

    https://www.jwfacts.com/watchtower/1800s.php

In Russell's doctrinal chronology the most important dates were 1874 and 1914:

"The chapter in SCRIPTURE STUDIES, Vol. II, showing the parallels between the Jewish and Christian Dispensations, makes prominent four dates, viz., (1) October, 1874; (2) April, 1878; (3) October, 1881, and (4) October, 1914;" Watch Tower 1911 June 15 p.190
"The careful student will have observed that the period designated 'The Time of the End' is very appropriately named, since not only does the Gospel age close in it, but in it, also, all prophesies relating to the close of this age terminate, reaching their fulfillments. The same class of readers will have noticed, too, the special importance of the last 40 of these 115 years (1874-1914), called 'The End' or 'Harvest.'" What makes you think Jesus preached for three and a half years?

Jesus told the people at the time that many wouldn't experience death because his new kingdom would eliminate death ,

That didn't happen so maybe the Messiah savior never did appear as the bible says he did ?

There were other self described Messiahs that appeared in around the time of Jesus Christ , what about them ?

Those ancients sure could tell a story, particularly when it came to their select gods.
