My JW Grandmother died

KGB, oh how I wish it were different for you.

It's bittersweet. The loss, that is perhaps, not missed (I don't know for sure), but a loss just the same.

I'm at a loss for words.

Just wishing you well, regardless of how you may be feeling at this time.

    Take care of yourself.

A sad story . When normal family relations break down then everybody suffers.

Please do not be too hard on her. She is what Ray Franz called a "Victim of victims". Her religion taught her to believe that you and any other unbelieving family had "Rejected the truth" "Turned your back on God" etc. If you joined another religion then that is even worse in their eyes.

You do not say whether she was of the anointed, It is interesting to think what surprises could be faced after death. I am not dogmatic on anything right now.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother, KGB.

I was fortunate to know both of mine (especially my maternal) but wasn't especially close to either of them. Didn't have anything to do with the religion, though.

Always wondered what it would be like to sit at a grandparent's feet and hear cool stuff about life. Or have them take you to the park. I won't ever know that side of grands, but my goal is to know what it's like to be that for somebody else.

So sorry love. Just remember no matter what anyone says. Scripture says HE is Examining HEARTS-You couldnt see her heart God could. Leave her to HIM....(((HUG)))

Thank you everyone for your kind and supportive words. I finally did shed a few tears over loosing my Grandmother. Although I think that the tears were caused more from my anger towards the borg for their destructive teachings. They have destroyed more families with their beliefs and it really makes me sick to my stomach. I am so angry at that religion. So mad that I cannot even say what I am feeling right now cause it might get me in Jail. The borg has created so much grief in my family and I now think that the dysfunction that is running rampad inside my family is and has always been caused by the borg.

Please for those still in, check out all things. God tells you to do so and please don't let them do to you what they have done to me and mine. It's a terrible thing to destroy a family. truely that is all we have in this life that we hold most dearest. I know I do but no matter how I feel it will not stop until the borg has been destroyed. I am sad that I never got to know my Grandmother like I knew my other Grandma. But then my fathers side did not have evil influence either and we loved by the heart rather than by faith.

Again I want to say thank you all for being thoughtful...
