With all the rules that we had to live under to be a good Christian it's a wonder that we aren't all neurotic basket cases like I am! Let's compile a list of transgressions and rules that we had to live by. For example:
No rated R movies
No Worldly friends
Premarital Sex
etc.
No birthdays
No Xmas or any holiday for that matter.
No other material for spiritually besides the Watchtower, period.
No college
No political opinions
No premarital sex

Did I mention no premarital sex?
No swearing (cursing)
No masturbation
No porn
No facial hair (that's the weirdest, and God help the Spanish sisters)
In my district women weren't allowed nose piercings unless they were of Indian ethnicity.
No denim skirts
No bare legs even with sandals
No pants for women unless working in the barn or in the field
No makeup if you might stumble someone
Women can clean the toilets but not fix them
Only women do dishes and laundry (Unless you are a male Bethelite)
Only women change diapers at the KH (no place provided for men in the restroom so brother with non-jw wife who did not come had to find some sister to do it or go out in the car and manage it somehow)
No job that requires any level of dedication, like overtime or the occasional meeting missed.
And no questions.

oh yes--fornication is a sin too.
A small joke there, eh, stan? Very small.
This guy was a new recruit and because he was not available for marriage, the sisters stayed far away. Single sisters like to demonstrate to the available brothers how they can be a good mother.
Finally, the brothers put in a diaper changing table. The jw fathers of diapered children still sent mom in to do the changing in the sisters restroom. They had more important duties of course.
Some younger more modern fathers did start giving their wives a break and did it some time.
When his daughters too old to take them in the men's room, he had to get the sisters to potty them in the women's.
So it seems that sex is the most important rule on JWN.
