I remember David Carter rolling up his trouser legs and jogging through the village we were working to entertain us. Apparently he was literally sick with nerves every morning. I worked with his wife Pauline once. She knocked on the door and then managed to upend her ministry bag spilling everything on the doorstep. It made me feel so much better. Usually visiting whatnots were so slick it was very off putting.

the Bible reading was a talk with personal commentary. Over all there are less personal expressions at the meetings

The Example Jesus, gave a bible reading and was allowed to comment on the material.
