And while they were forgiving the loans for the mortgages at menlo Park ,didn`t they get the congregations to commit themselves to paying that same amount to the society with no end in sight?
At least with the loan they had it would have been paid it off after x amount of years but then committing themselves to pay that same amount perpetually is just insane.
