    So, the end times are here. Just as we got to the weekend too, I always expected it on a Monday morning for some reason.

    Makes you think - major cities in California are built on some of the most treacherous fault lines, the same junction of tectonic plates that just shifted in Mexico. I'm sure the building codes are better but a major quake could cause major destruction in a more populated area.

    I already have JW's filling up FB with

    "I hope our brothers are ok" - 15 people died so far but.....F em....they weren't JW's

    "We are privileged to know exactly what is happening here" - It was an earthquake.

    "So exciting!" - People getting excited for what they hope is the end of the world is so cute......and horrific.

    "earthquakes in one place after another" - *Ahem* Earthquakes are no more common than ever before in history. Our ability to measure them has incresed quite a bit, and the destruction they cause is greater because of our population boom.

    Its driving me nuts. No empathy for their fellowman. Just concern for the brothers and "excitement" for everyone to die.

    The Second Coming

    W. B. Yeats, 1865 - 1939

    Turning and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
    The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
    The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
    The best lack all conviction, while the worst
    Are full of passionate intensity.

    Surely some revelation is at hand;
    Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
    The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
    When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
    Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
    A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
    A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
    Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
    Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
    The darkness drops again; but now I know
    That twenty centuries of stony sleep
    Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
    And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
    Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

    “Look! I am sending to you E·liʹjah the prophet before the coming of the great and awe-inspiring day of Jehovah.

    Jesus said that was John the B. In the role of Elijah -and that was more than 2000 years ago. I think wt would say that Jehovahs day back then was the destruction of the temple and modern fulfillment is wt in the role of JTB.

    I suppose something could be worse than Stalin, Hitler, Mao, WwI, Ww2, etc. if one actually experiences it.

    76 earthquakes so far today, biggest in Mexico.
