How can you have a deficit for a Circuit Assembly on Zoom??

Remember when after a Circuit Assembly the assembly overseer would come out right before the end of the assembly and make a special announcement;

"Brothers, we have a financial deficit of $5,000 dollars for our Circuit Assembly. Keep in mind that we have utilities and other expenses that need to be met. We are confident that Jehovah will open your hearts to take care of the matter."

Well it seems that they are doing the same thing with the Circuit Assembly on ZOOM!

And the True Believers are buying it!

When it is Watchtower Law that the Watchtower cannot be questioned, they can continue running the same scam. It isn't expenses they are truly short on, especially in this scenario. They are short on the sizeable donation that is to be sent to the Watchtower. That donation is considered an "expense" or running the Assembly.

I think they have a set amount of 'worldwide work' donation, sort of a quota, that they consider a fixed expense. It has little or nothing to do with the expenses that are directly attributable to the event. They also are still having to maintain their assembly halls, which are virtually unused but still need minimal heating and cooling, etc., so it is likely that they are collecting for those expenses.

In this area (midwest US) they had the assembly hall for sale for several years but no one would buy it. It is located so far out in the rurals with poor access to highways that it is essentially an unsaleable property.

Elders in a nearby congregation increased the congregation monthly donation from £400 to an incredible £800 a month. But that congregation never gets enough to cover that amount. I guess the elders expect members of the congregation to increase their donations to cover their higher resolved donation amount. Because if they don’t, the congregation will quickly run out of money. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Circuits are effectively billed before a convention, the levy amount based on the anticipated number of people that will attend. This gives the appearance that the circuit is in arrears.

At the Zoom Circuit Assembly a few weeks ago, it was obvious that the Assembly Overseer was embarrassed to make the announcement that there was a deficit. To add insult to injury the circuit sent about $5,000 surplus to headquarters from the last Zoom Assembly!

This cultcorporation will conduct MONEY GRABS whether it's in person (pre-pandemic) or on ZOOM (from Warwitch, or an unchartered desert isle or from a satellite in Outerspace or on another planet--they could be in cahoots with Musk, Bezos, etc., if they had a chance to have this status). Don't forget that they have taken ownership of many of the assembly halls directly.

Previously they were built using the money and skills sacrificed by well meaning sheep. They were maintained and paid for as separate entities by fleecing the same people that built them. It's like buying and owning your house, selling it to a landlord for nothing. then paying to rent it.

Now, we don't even get to visit it, we just pay rent to keep it empty.
