Tell them nothing. Never talk to the elders.

Good luck with the sexting, it gives me sore fingers.

    To clarify your O.P:-

    Q) How serious do Elders view sexting?

Well I believe a "GROUP" of elders both " need" and " want" a judicial commitee. So my answer is:-

    A) It depends who's sexting?

    B) Who are the " Elders" victims that they can have a judicial committee with?

I believe the offense is not so relevant. Because I believe being a full fledged "Elder" they want to sit on a judicial judicial committee. Translation if necessary, siting on a judical committee is part of the ego of being an " Elder"

Ex "Elders" will hit my comments with their " rhythm stick." But I believe this organisation appoints men to "Elders" only if they are company men indoctrinated enough to want to sit on judgement on others.

that's waaay too general a question: you need to consider and define what you actually mean to ask -

What is the relationship between the two people? Are they married to each other, or to other people? Are they single?

What are the ages of the two people? Is one of them under 18 and therefore is it a criminal offense? It would then need to be reported to the police wouldn't it?

Here's an interesting scenario to consider:

    + Two 16-year-olds can have full-blown consensual physical sex - and that's totally ok and legal;

+ If one of them 'sexts' the other - well that's illegal, and a criminal offense that should be reported to the police.

The new Society expression "brazen conduct" would probably include this. I guess much would depend on the circumstances - you would presume that a BOE would take a more relaxed attitude if it was a "courting couple" doing this than some married JW having a bit of fun on the side with someone else in the congregation or ( gasp ) a ""worldly" person.

Frankly - a lot depends on the BOE. When I was an elder , we had an elder in our congregation confess ( or rather , his wife got him to confess ) that he was masturbating to porn online & a couple of the older elders felt he should be deleted , whereas the rest of us just didn't want to know ( and reminded ourselves to regularly delete our browsing histories! )

There is no need to guess at this and answers that offer personal opinion are at times damaging to those who are in a difficult position and need accurate information to make inportant decisions.

Here is the relevant portion of the ks10:

    The Rebel :-

    A) So you and the other "ELDER'S" were total hypocrites. I don't admire your "Elders" favourtisam to a fellow " Elder" In my opinion being an "Elder" in the J.W organisation does not come with any redeeming qualities, only shame. Now answer me the history of these wonderful " Elders"

    a) How many have they (you) disfellowshipped

    b) What was the crime?

now in this scenario they're both consenting adults (18+)

If the boe decides it was a entrenched practice then it could be a jc. If it was once or twice then you may get away with it.... that first bullet point is the one they will use to make a decision.

The pop up dating ads on this site would be construed as sexting according to the big GB. I'm surprised no one on here he's asked for examples.

It's wrong as long as the eldurrs are not getting their jollies. As long as they get theirs...no problem, carry on!.
