How was your wedding? Did you have a jw wedding or something different? My wedding was not what either of us wanted at first, but it turned out very lovely. We wanted a beach wedding, same destination as our honeymoon, kill two birds with one stone you know? But my mom was close to the end stage of her illness and wouldn't be able to travel. So we thought maybe something small with the ceremony at the hall and reception at my parents' house.
But that wasn't going to be good enough for my parents lol! Nope, they wanted their only girl to have the big jw affair complete with a wedding gown, huge guest list and reception. I wanted to make my mom smile as much as I could, that was really important to me. Sure, it was our day, but I knew time with her was limited. All that mattered was that we were getting married.
Anyway, I can't speak for anyone else's experience, but we partied soooooo hard at our reception! Great food, booze, great music (nothing was off limits😉💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾) no boring speeches or line dances lol...it was great. My in laws still talk about how much fun they had.
It's a rainy day here in GA, so I thought I would share a nice and light experience.
