Does anyone think that Dubbers buy up old publications to destroy?

When I was a Jobo, I bought old propaganda to add to my 'theocratic library(TM)'.

Some buy them to show the utter BS that's in them. Evidence.

I can't imagine anyone would pay money to 'recycle bin' old propaganda books and mags. After all, the God of the GB is money. THEY want the money that would be used to buy back the crappy books.

The Jobos are conditioned not to accept 'old light(tm)', and just put it down to the imaginary invisible sky daddy giving 'food at the proper time(tm)'.

Short answer to the question: No.

JWs treat doubting, faded, and d/f'ed members just like all their old publications.

Baihi, I just picked up a tower and awake 69 off of ebay for 15 shipped. You can find them there most days.

I have been looking for an Awake bound vol 1947 and had no success yet.

I can totally picture raving WT loyalists anxiously doing it just to try and thwart "apostates".

(Which, IMO, just goes to show that on some level, they realize that said "apostates" are actually right.)

The old Millions now living will never die 1920 is hard to find under 70 bucks. I see one slip by at ebay for less once in a while but not often.

Who would've thought that old WT publications would become "collectibles"?
