This is great news- hopefully the victims can gain some measure of credibility when others in the congregation see their cases being taken seriously.
just one thing..can I print out articles posted here from reports and make them in to posters and put them up?I would'nt be breaking any copyright laws at all...? Thanks.

Here's some second hand conversation, for what it's worth.....
My sister, who lives north just outside of San Francisco, & I were talking about her trying to relocate for new employment(she works for the Calif. schools system & was laid off with the other thousands). She asked our cousin in far northern Calif. about jobs & good places to raise a family. He told her DO NOT move any farther north. He has worked his way up over the years to a supervisory position in Parole. His insiders knowledge was that the trend is to "ship all the pedos to the hills", which is the more remote North CA. He related it scares him the percentage of pedos in the population compared to other areas.
I'd wager the percentage may be higher in the KH's also. These law firms may have found their happy hunting grounds.

Poor, poor Phil.......I bet he's not getting much sleep these days as he tries to protect victims, comply with the laws of the land and adhere to the "two eye-witness" rule. Funny how they couldn't produce two witnesses to testify at Barbara Anderson's JC, but they disfellowshipped her anyway.

Yep. I guess all 23,000 cases at headquarters are just fictions of everyone's imagination.
These guys are definitely getting their comeuppance.........doesn't the bible say "whatever a man is sowing, this he shall also reap" and "there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed.

Those of you who live in northern California might send a letter to the editor of your local paper (if they ran the story) and point out that this WTS statement:
Where molestation allegations are corroborated, the abuser is banned from the church and is never again allowed to hold a position of authority if the excommunication is rescinded, Brumley said.
...has only been true for the last two or three years and that this policy came about because of lawsuits like these. Prior to that time, child abuse allegations weren't taken very seriously, a police report was strongly and universally discouraged in order to protect the reputation of the JW organization, and some perpetrators were in fact reappointed as congregation elders after a period of time had elapsed. Many or most of these cases now coming to court involve victims who were molested during the period of time when the new, stricter rules WERE NOT IN FORCE, and any new policies recently imposed have absolutely nothing to do with the lawsuits under discussion. These new policies have come about, not out of concern for victims, but in order to give JW spin doctors something to spin.
