Did you know, for example, that mothers and fathers who stroke the genitals of their fretful babies to keep them quiet are unwittingly encouraging them to become masturbators later on?

Who the fuck had what on their minds writing this article? When did Leo Greenlees disapear off the scene? Is that the only problem with parents spanking their infant's donkey???

Maybe I've been reading the wrong parenting books (like only the legal ones), but I've never come across that tip. Don't they frown on married people doing that kind of thing (to each other I mean)? Don't they put engaged couples in front of a JC for doing that concentually? Even in 1973, didn't they call it pornia (or maybe Lose Conduct)? Did parents have an exemption for quieting their infants?

That masturbation is abnormal and unnatural is also indicated by the fact that abnormal, mentally deranged people are notorious masturbators.

So, the things mentally derranged people are notorious for is (for a 'fact') abnormal and unnatural? Well, evidently mentally derranged people wrote this (now notorious) Watchtower, so does that mean that writing The Watchtower is an abnormal and unnatural activity? It's certainly a notorious one.

I think this masturbating issue is due to the wierdos back in bethel. Most are without wives. Seem strange to begin with and they have a terrible time dealing with their sexuality. I believe that their urge to masterbate overwhelms them. In their self guilt and self hate, they feel they must gain control of this situation. They are convinced that since this is such a huge issue for them, it must be a huge issue for all others.

They want to enforce on everyone, what they themselves can not control.

here the society tries to use the guilt arguement. It might sound convincing but think of this:

When a girl is not prepared by parents, the first time she menstruates will be a frightful thing, feeling guilty and dirty. Does that mean that it is dirty or something bad? No. It's natural, nothing to be ashamed off. The same goes with masturbation, sure the first time somebody can be ashamed. But so what? It defintely is natural. AAnyone claiming otherwise should study the animal kingdom for masturbation examples. Bonobos for instance, do it all the time...

So France has it figured out. Now I know why there is a song between the first and second hour of the Sunday Meeting. I can see Brother Can't-Stop-Spanking-The-Monkey saying to his wife he married at the age of 18 because of his tentions, "Excuse me dear, the first hour was so boring and I know the Watchtower is a snoozer, I need liven things up a bit."
